We have a home exchanger coming later this month from Europe. I asked him if there are items he needs at the swap home. He asked if I have an electrical outlet adapter that would let him plug French appliances like his electric shaver into American outlets. Sure I do!
I found the adapter kit I bought when I went to Europe a few years ago. It has an adapter for every country. It is made for American appliances to be plugged in to the adapter, then plugged in to the wall outlet in another country. It is not made for European appliances to be plugged in to American outlets.
OK, so logic is not my strong point. Obviously the adapters I bought to use with American appliances will not allow my European guest to use his appliances in the US.
The exchanger asked if I needed any products from France. I said yes, please bring me an adapter for my guests to use with EU appliances!
