Cape Cod Exchange Home

Arriving at a new exchange home in the dark can be a challenge. It is not like finding a fifty-foot high motel sign glowing above the highway.

Luckily we didn't have the challenge of searching for a strange swap home at night, having spent 6 hours driving 100 miles before giving up and finding a hotel for the night.

Our GPS unit directed us to turn just a few feet before the precise location of the exchange home. That would have been convenient if we could have driven through the house and pond located between us and the swappers' house.

We backed out of the private driveway and back onto the road. A few turns down the road we found an entrance to the development that did not necessitate vehicular mayhem.

Our home exchange was about to begin.
