Cape Cod: the House

As we drove thru the home exchangers' development we saw a forest interspersed with low brown cottages. It seemed that respect for the environment had been taken into account in the planning of these homes.

Instead of taking up more land with garages, a central parking area was located a few steps from each door.

The exchangers had described their home as a "condo" but that makes me think of an apartment in a tall building. These homes were what I would call townhouses. No more than two homes were attached to each other and they had the look of single-family residences.

We pulled in to our exchangers' designated parking spot. Before we even entered their home we found a couple of nice surprises.
