One couple contacted us. After several email exchanges, we mentimed our cats and they said they were allergic. The fact that we have cats is line #1 in our listing.
The second couple balked at our two children. Again, clearly described in great detail in the listing.
Mental illness isn't doing the same thing over and over again, it's expecting a different result. Miami people seem to prefer tanning to reading. I only wanted to spend two or three nights in Miami. The following week we would be at our half of a non-simultaneous exchange.
It is logistically complicated to have back-to-back exchangers. By not doing a brief Miami swap I could keep the entire 10 days I'd be gone open for a new non-simultaneous swap.
I decided to book a hotel. But there was a problem. Forces were conspiring that might make it impossible for me to visit Miami.
