More details are emerging about the rogue AllHomeExchange.com operating from China. Some of the information being put out by official home exchange sources is speculative at best, purposely misleading at worst.
For my part, I created an account so I could post a headline letting others know the site was founded through identity theft and will probably continue to exploit anyone who comes near it.
I noticed my neighbor had created a real listing so I wrote to her to let her know the site is a scam. Then I decided that even having a fake listing gives the club legitimacy so I used the "contact us" form to ask that the account they created without my consent be deleted immediately.
HomeExchangeTravels reader Salli had a still better idea. She also asked that her account be deleted, and it was, "within 24 hours". Before she left, Salli posted a comment on the site's "testimonial" wall letting others know AllHomeExchange is a scam. Well done, Salli!
Next: what one home exchange club is saying about AllHomeExchange, and why they would lie to us that way.
