Today is laundry day because I forgot to ask the home exchangers to wash their linens. They used 5 beds, so it's a lot of sheets and towels. It's important to specify if you want swappers to do your wash before they leave. If you are not sure what the exchangers want, it's best to at least strip the beds and put the linens in a hamper or even a plastic bag.
In our case, the exchangers wanted to make things look nice so they re-made their beds with the dirty sheets and neatly folded the dirty towels. I assumed everything was clean so I used one of the towels when I showered! I am going to be more specific next time and avoid confusing my home exchange guests.
